Popular Nigerian skit maker and musician, Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji, widely known as Nasboi, has survived a serious car accident during a self-initiated journey across multiple Nigerian states.
The entertainer had embarked on this daring road trip about seven days ago, with the bold aim of catching the attention of Afrobeats superstar Davido, hoping to secure a collaboration on a potential hit song. What began as a passionate pursuit turned into a terrifying experience when, on Day 7 of the journey, Nasboi was involved in a ghastly accident that nearly cost him his life.
The news of the incident has sparked widespread concern among fans and supporters, many of whom have taken to social media to express relief and sympathy.
Shortly after the accident, Nasboi went live on social media to reassure his fans that he was safe and recovering. In his live video, he maintained a calm and reflective tone, stating that he doesn’t blame the accident on the journey itself. According to him, “This could have happened in Lagos too,” suggesting that such incidents can occur anywhere, regardless of location.
